Four Die In Lynnwood Three-Vehicle Wreck
Four people died and five were injured in a three car crash east of Lynnwood on 196th Street Southwest at 28th Avenue West. Victims include Larry Karr 34 and Diane 34 of Bothell Jacob Lambrecht 83 and Clara 79 of Seattle. Devon Karr 3 and Kelli Schulze 19 were hospitalized in serious to critical condition. Drivers Everett Allen 77 and Agnes 72 of Seattle. Kevin Ringitsch 21 of Brier were treated and released or remained hospitalized for injuries. The crash occurred at 6 43 p m when Ringitsch northbound vehicle collided with the eastbound Karr vehicle, causing a chain collision with Allen’s car.

Youth electrocuted by wires in tree near Edmonds home
A 13-year-old Edmonds boy, Chad Buckmeier, climbed a fir to inspect a bird nest and touched one or more high voltage lines in the tree. He died at Stevens Memorial Hospital after police, fire and medics responded.
