Community Transit unveils a 400 stall park and ride at I-5 and 236th Street Southwest funded by federal and state my funds. A dedication is set for April 12 with officials from FTA APA and local leaders attending. Bus service from the lot begins April 13 and an express Seattle run starts April 25.

Vandal to finish job he started
A 15 year old Edmonds boy who began chopping a 80 foot fir in a yard will finish the job and split and stack the wood. He agreed to the arrangement in lieu of charges after police traced him from the scene. Authorities seek the other two youths who fled.

Mountlake Terrace moves to lease the closed Terrace Junior High for a new vocational college run by Columbia Pacific College. Students to tour Europe in nine day trip
A nine day European tour for South County students is planned for June, sponsored by American Leadership Study Groups. A meeting for interested students and parents will be held April 13 at 7 p.m. at Sno-Isle Vocational Skills Center in Everett.
