The Hyde Park Community Council and Hyde Park Residents Association question changes to the plan after the recreation commission indicated that site drainage, tennis courts, and minimal landscaping and walkways may exhaust current funds. The EDA approved 132 500 for the arena as part of the original plan with prioritized storm drainage and pedestrian access addressed if phased.

Artist Paul Chidlaw Named Edgecliff Artist in Residence
Cincinnati artist Paul Chidlaw, longtime Hyde Park resident, is appointed artist in residence at Edgecliff College. The 80 year old painter focuses on painting and visual logic, teaching seminars in Edgecliff’s art department to foster students into painters. His works have been exhibited at Closson’s and Standard Federal Savings on Vine Street.

Opening Center planned for Mariemont seniors
The Mariemont Assembly Program for Older Adults plans to open a center in October in the parish center lower level with a ground level entrance and parking. The center, funded by the village assembly Kiwanis Club and church, will be run by a 12 member board and supported by Hamilton County funds under the CETA for a year.
