W M Morgan of Fayetteville died at his home Monday morning at age 52. Former Durham citizen connected with Morehead Banking Company leaves a wife and three children. Remains brought to Durham for interment today with funeral at First Presbyterian Church and burial in Maplewood cemetery.

Rute Case To Be Settled By Legislature
An informed source says the North Carolina passenger rate dispute with Southern Railway will be settled by the Legislature. The fixed rate is 2.14 cents per mile. Southern reports an average passenger payment of 2.41 cents per mile. Governor Glenn cannot alter the rate himself and may propose recommendations to the Legislature after returning today.
