Mrs. Mims aged 62 died Tuesday evening at her Angier avenue home after illness. The body was sent Wednesday afternoon to her old home in Chatham county. She leaves a husband and one daughter. The funeral party included many friends and relatives.

Death of long term county home inmate reported
Mrs. Cornelia Evans an inmate at the county home was found dead in her bed last Tuesday morning. She had been at the home about 14 years and while partly demented she never caused trouble, and there were no prior health indications.
