The first Duchesne Junior Prom was held Friday night the 26th with modernistic décor from the Ward Amusement Wall and a central paper tree. Dancers wore bright gowns and dark suits as patrons and patronesses including Mayor Geo C Koll and Supt Mrs W A Paxton attended. decorations, mostly student-made, boosted the event’s social and financial success.

The BG. P. W. group decided on two flower shows this year one in early June and one in August. They plan to partner on Yard Beautifying contests with other groups and seek co operation. The club cites limited funds for prizes and will place a large waste paper basket on streets once it arrives.

One Million Dollars Spent on Victory Highway Works in Northwest Colorado
