George Peirce Billings of Duchesne dies in Provo at 74 after a long life in church and business. Funeral was held Sunday at 2 PM in the Hennerville ward with burial in Provo cemetery. Beloved Duchesne woman Mrs Olea Pope dies

Tributes pour in from Duchesne and Utah communities as Mrs Olea Mary Pope, longtime teacher and civic figure, is laid to rest after funeral services in Duchesne. Rev Frank Connor led the ceremony with music by local quartets and tributes from family and Legion Auxiliary. Mrs Pope was born July 24 1908 in Denver and taught in several Utah towns before settling in Duchesne.
