Escaped convict shoots wife and male companion in Florida
Fred Stokes, an escaped prisoner from the state penitentiary, allegedly shot his wife Hazel Stokes and a visitor, Edward Barnett, at a Jacksonville boarding house after escaping six weeks earlier.
