Two Johnson City teens fled from the State Line after buying gas oil drinks and cigarettes without paying. War Bond sales reach 2.369 billion in three days

Treasury officials said the Third War Loan could hit the 15 billion dollar quota as of the first three days. Corporate and large investors led, with 1.4746 billion subscriptions. Individuals contributed 328 million. Delaware led with 28 percent of its quota, New York 24 percent, and North Carolina 14 percent.

City Decrees Dogs Must Be Inoculated and Pick Up Strays

The City Commission sets October 1 as the inoculation deadline for all dogs in Dothan and adopts fees for dog catching, boarding, and inoculation. S. J.
