Houston County updates on new A book mailings and theft case
Officials announced more than 1000 basic A books mailed this week as six to seven thousand applications are expected from city county residents and Army Camp personnel. The A book provides 30 coupons each valid for three months, four gallons per stamp, and requires stub and receipt attachment. Deputy Sheriff Clayton Adams will lodge the thief in the county jail on a larceny charge after Laura Barber’s watch was stolen. Campbell faces theft charges for a gold watch valued at 25 dollars.
