Oradour Sur Glane Massacre Describes Devastation
AP correspondent Edward Kennedy details the massacre at Oradour sur Glane on June 10, when Das Reich SS troops trapped villagers in the church and adjacent buildings. Between 1200 and 1500 people, mostly women and children, perished as fire and phosphorous grenades reduced the village to ashes.
