Fatal truck crash kills Burns couple on bridge

A truck collision on a course bridge killed Mr. and Mrs. Hicks of Columbia and injured a bystander. Patrolman Huckabes and others reported the vehicle struck a guard rail, caused a fire, and knocked occupants from the cab. The accident was ruled accidental. the Hicks family includes Mrs. Hicks’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold of Abbeville, with a survivor in Dothan.

Planes Transport 125 000 Wounded to Hospitals

Philadelphia report from Howard W Blakesler notes that 125000 wounded or sick servicemen were flown to hospitals in the last three months. In September 1015 were flown home from battles worldwide with only one death en route and no accidents.
