Brooklyn teens held cash in fourteenthteenth street car chase

In Shreveport a 15 year old Brooklyn boy Morton Rosenblum and his companion Joan Melson were detained after highway patrol found a suitcase stuffed with cash totaling 24000 in a New York registered car near Minden Louisiana. The youths claimed the money and car were theirs and were released after their fathers arrived to secure their freedom. The cash remains with police pending ownership inquiry.
