Brigadier General CG Mitchell, 83, died of apoplexy during a grand march at the Alabama Confederate Veterans Reunion in Houston Hotel. He had expressed a wish to die among comrades and was remembered for his lively dancing. Body to be moved to Birmingham for burial. he had made many friends in Dothan.
