Dr Hugo Becker and other Graf Zeppelin officers inspected the dirigible at Lakehurst in preparation for an inland U S tour. H B Chase arrived from Route 6 to visit.
Prof J H Dodds has been elected Scoutmaster of Troop 39 in Samson Alabama and has begun leading the troop. He is a local high school teacher and former Savannah Tennessee Scout. Meetings are Mondays at the Methodist church basement with Rev S T Trotter and Grady Martin as assistant scoutmasters. Board members include Prof Williams W N Morris R C Winters and E L Thornton. Dodds will attend the Scoutmasters training course in Dothan next Tuesday night.

Vickery a longtime Dothan resident 47 years died this morning at his Cherry Street home at age 71 Survived by widow Laura a son Carroll two grandchildren two brothers and three sisters Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 30 PM from the Foster Street Methodist Church with Rev J F McLeod in charge Interment in the city cemetery with Masonic honors Dothan Lodge No 466 members to act as pallbearers Fellows and Forrester in charge of arrangements

He became the first condemned person to die in Italy since 1960, the execution carried out by a platoon of 12 fascist militiamen who shot him after his ties to a chair.
