Woman accuses New York financier of extortion

Olga N Edwards, a 34 year old brunette, is charged with extorting more than 170000 from Nathan L Amster, a 60 year old financier. Amster says he denies paternity of her six year old son and has paid money to many people but this case is problematic. Edwards was arrested after police paid her 500 in marked bills. her child is in custody of the Children’s Aid Society.

Average family consumes 498 pounds of meat yearly

The Alabama extension service reports that the average American family with a yearly income of 960 to 2560 dollars uses 498 pounds of meat, 94 dozen eggs, 500 quarts milk, 96 pounds butter, 238 pounds sugar, 777 pounds flour bread and rolls, and 600 pounds potatoes annually, per James J. Davis statistics.
