Preparations Under Way for Legion Show at East Main

The Pitcher Jot on East Main Street is being shaped for the American Legion celebration starting Monday. Electric lighting and midway attractions by Coe Brothers Shows, employing over 200 people, will accompany the event with daily features. The Coe Brothers arrive Sunday from Eufaula and tour to Panama City and Marianna after Do­thean. The 12 riding devices and 32 shows promise varied entertainment, with opening night featuring Dothan’s guests. School children will gain free admission next Saturday.

Rotary Official to Visit Wiregrass Section

Enterprise report details John C. Florida Auto Tags To Be Put On Sale First of December

Florida sets 1932 automobile license plates to go on sale December 1 with bright orange figures on black. Motorists will pay about 24 percent more in license fees, but no personal property tax on autos before obtaining the tag. Revenue goes to public schools, and Acting Commissioner Walter McLin urges early purchases to speed funds to schools and ease finances.
