Spanish Officers Inspect S-4 Submarine Safety Device

Two Spanish naval officers Engineer Commander August Miranda and Lieut Commander Antonio Alonso arrived at the Portsmouth Navy Yard to study the safety device on the experimental submarine S-4. Dothan Bridge and Road Work Aim for Simultaneous Openings

Rapid progress on the Dothan Campbellton road continues though paving may finish about 15 days after June 1. City crews lay water and sewer lines on S Oates street before asphalt, costing about $2000. Merchants expect a hard surfaced link from Chicago to Miami, boosting tourist traffic. Report Delays on Shooting of Man by Trooper

The Alabama military board investigating the shooting of Joe Long by Pvt. Lewis Roy is not expected to issue its report for several days.
