Color Indicates Food to Discerning Bees
WESTMINISTER Md 1.1 While there is no definite proof that a honey bee is immune to color, experiments reported to the American Association for the Advancement of Science by Dr Lloyd M Bertholf of Western Maryland College show bees distinguish five colors green blue violet yellow and red. In a dark chamber crossed color beams linked to food and empty larder, bees followed the color previously connected to food, indicating color awareness beyond two hues. Human eyes distinguish about 150 hues.

Medical Aid by Radio from British Stations
Medical aid for ill or injured ship passengers can be obtained by sending a radiogram to the relevant British coast radio station. The station passes the request to medical authorities and the ship receives a reply. A doctor dispatch request is addressed as a radiogram to the medical officer of the nearest port. The service cost is charged to the ship. A buckskin coat worn by Buffy Bill at the time of the Yellow Hand killing is housed in the Santa Barbara museum of natural history.
