Army regiments to parade through Dothan streets

About 300 regulars from the 29th Infantry Regiment of Fort Benning will march through Dothan tomorrow afternoon, 2:15 p.m., from Eufaula via Land, Dixie, Foster and Main streets to the aviation field. The encampment hosts a large audience, with inspection, drills, and a night camp at Lumpkin and Eufaula.

Pneumonia Fatal To James Clark At Home

James Clark, 56, died last night at his Dothan route six home after a short pneumonia illness. Funeral planned for 3 p.m. at Rehobeth church with Rev. O. M. Murphy. burial in church cemetery. Alleged Robber Held for Grand Jury by Court

William Penn, accused of robbery at the C. W. Vickers store near Gordon on March 21, was bound over to the grand jury after a hearing in common pleas court before Judge Keener Baxley. Bond reduced from 1000 to 500. State witnesses included Nellie Vickers, 18, and her father, describing three men stopping at the store, stealing 45 dollars at gunpoint, and driving away. The other two suspects were described. Perry Calhoun and J Norton Mullins prosecuted for the state. Penn did not testify.

New Shoals Bill Faces Tennessee Opposition

Representative McReynolds said the Tennessee delegation in the House opposes the Cove Creek dam provision in the Muscle Shoals bill.
