Savannah March 10 Henry Brown a private in the One Hundred and Sixteenth Company Coast Artillery was killed at Fort Steven when two mules he was driving ran away and threw him under a wagon. He was a native of New York.

Mexican refugees rounded up near border at Douglas

One hundred and fifty Mexican refugees from this city were surrounded by American troops last night near the border and placed under arrest. The Mexicans began moving toward the border after reports that a rebel force appeared before Agua Prieta, suspected of masking plans to join a supposed raid if attacked. J. C.
