Death of West Virginia mystery writer Melville Post

Melville Davisson Post, 59, famed West Virginia author of Uncle Abner and Walker of the Secret Service, died in a Clarksburg hospital after a June 1 horse riding incident and subsequent relapse from complications including varicose veins of the esophagus.
