B W Armstrong Sr a Dothan insurance salesman was struck by a car at the Foster and Troy street intersection around 7 30 am. He suffered painful bruises with the worst injury to his left leg and was taken to a local hospital for treatment before being returned to a hotel bed. The car driver, described as a negro, was turning north on Foster from west Troy.
