Stolen Plane Recovered After Escape to Arkansas
Allan Scott, a young Pine Bluff pilot, escaped from the Leland Mississippi jail and phoned Sheriff Brewster that he was en route with an Arkansas Power and Light plane. He said he ran out of gas in Dumas Arkansas and was arrested at Leland upon landing, charged with airplane theft.
