DDT Levels in Feed Milk and Animals Studied
A historic dairy study reports DDT levels in hay and corn fed to cattle with steers storing up to 63 parts per million in fat while hay racks contained 184 ppm in dairy cows and milk containing 10 to 38 ppm. A calf suckling a dairy cow showed 25 ppm in fat after 143 days, and steers fed unchucked corn reached 65 ppm in fat. The experiment, done in collaboration with the 175 Bureau.

May 27 Traffic Mishaps Reported in Dothan
Dothan city police investigated twenty seven traffic accidents during May with eight injuries, one serious. A teen rider, fifteen year old Johnny Floyd Paschel, suffered a fractured sex in a Friday night scooter collision on May 23. No fatalities were reported.
