A meeting of Ebel Sixth District Nurses' Association was held Wednesday in the Public Health building with Mrs. Jewell Thrasher presiding. Plans for the year were outlined and committees appointed. Mrs. Ide Inscor was elected Nurse Deputy for the Emergency Medical Service of Civic Defense for Houston County. New officers announced for 1948: Mrs. Jewell Thrasher president, Miss Irene Daggett first vice president, Mrs. Alene Sells second vice president, Miss Gladys Horn secretary and treasurer. Mrs. Charles W Silaby welcomed as a new member.
