Dothan Guard Heads to Inauguration Parade

Forty five enlisted men and three officers from the Dothan unit of the Alabama State Guard left yesterday on two buses for Inauguration ceremonies for Governor Sparka in Montgomery. Under Capt N Masser and lieutenants R O Byrd and J L Sheay the Dothan Company 69 will bivouac the night and prep for the downtown parade tomorrow. Lt Col J P Shealy, a State Staff member, will lead the Front Battalion in the parade. the unit camped near Bulby Prison at the Montgomery arsenal and will return to Dothan late tomorrow night.
