Milner recalls thrills and pitcher management in coaching career
Warren Foster recalls the Wiregrass club and Bob Fumble asking Milner about his biggest thrill. Milner cites a Troy memory with two home runs in one inning at Panama City. He also recalls Dothan Tallassee playoff drama, a late winning single, and the debate on when to pull a pitcher. Milner argues against mysticism, noting managers guess and face bleacher pressure while learning pitcher matchups.
