Victims of Gale Recovering Today Near Cowarts
Mrs. A. L. Whitehurst of near Cowarts is recovering from head injuries after a tornado demolished her home Sunday night. Her husband two children and an employee were injured but not seriously as the dwelling left only one room standing. Another house nearby was destroyed and the tornado followed the 191% cyclone path, which killed 12 at Cowarts.

Stable operator free on bond in Dothan shooting
Marvin Holman a Dothan stable operator was released on $500 bond after being indicted for assault with intent to murder in a September 4 shooting at Mose Saliba's East Main Street store. Saliba, who says Holman fired first, says Holman was wounded in the struggle. Both men are well known in Dothan where Holman arrived in 1917 and Saliba has lived over 28 years.

Lone Star Flight Began From Old Orchard Toward Buenos Aires

J C Wadlington described the first club in Chicago with Paul Harris as president and Norman Spann traced the first international club in Quebec.
