Ashford prepares to formally open its new American Legion home next Wednesday. Will Wright announces a barbecue and dance to fund moving and fixing the Napier Field building gifted by the City of Dothan and Houston County along with the lot. Ottis L. Cooper Jim Saliba P S Bailey and other Legion officials will attend with Probate Judge Albert Logue as master of ceremonies. Commander Wim J. McCorkle leads a post with 400 paid members.
