Mrs Alice Thomas Richardson aged twenty four died last night at her Ozark home. Funeral services were held at Shipperville Church with Rev John R Smith officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery Holman Funeral Home directing. Surviving are husband James Richardson, a son James David, her parents Mr and Mrs D T Thomas, two sisters Mrs Mary Martha McGuendon and Miss Helen Thomas, all of Ozark, and several nieces and nephews.

Police Intercept Sammy Thomas Looting Cheese Plan
Sammy Thomas, Negro, was arrested by city police Saturday on a petty larceny charge after entering a Dothan grocery and stealing a pound of cheese, then taking a knife from a nearby department store to cut it. He wore a hat stolen days earlier and was released on bond.
