Heavy Boiler Falls On Negro Worker In Dothan Accident
Albert Wright, a Negro employee of Dothan Transfer Co., suffered a broken thigh and multiple bruises when a 3,500 pound boiler fell on him during unloading at the Masonic building site at Oates and Troy Streets. Driver Hanvey said Wright stood in the truck when the boiler shifted and the vehicle overturned. Wright was extricated and taken to a local hospital. the boiler and truck sustained minor damage.
