Juror Contempt Cited in Oregon Prohibition Case Mistrial

In Bend Oregon District Judge Duffy ordered a contempt citation for an unnamed juror after a liquor case involving Mrs Lulu Cline ended in mistrial when a jug of evidence disappeared during deliberations. Court attaches said the jug was full at deliberations but near empty on return. A juror allegedly attacked the 75 year old bailiff when denied a bed.

Mullins Sees Early Supreme Court Appeal Decision

Mullins predicts an early supreme court ruling on the appeal challenging Judge Pearce's bond grant for the men charged with Claude Avant's murder.
