J H Dupree 42 of Ashford died at a local hospital at 6 this morning from injuries after an automobile crash Sunday night. He and Sterling Hicks were riding when the car struck concrete guard posts on the Ashford highway as Hicks tried to pass a wagon. Dupree was thrown from the car and his head struck a post.
