Four Soldiers Named in Cottonwood Robbery Confession

Corpl J J Holland of Fort Benning confessed to leading a Cottonwood robbery with four companions Corporal Richard O Harrison Private William C Taylor Henry Newman and Al Gibson. The group allegedly seized 600 in cash after forcing the cashier into a vault. Police traced the suspects via torn notes found near the scene and a 12 year old witness. Newman and Gibson were arrested near Houston County while Holland and Taylor were identified through military records.
