Dothan to Get State Branch Laboratory

Ground to Pieces in Concrete Mixer Fatal Accidents
In Gadsden Alabama on August 12 Steve Ivuke 22 was killed when a concrete mixer crushed him as he fell during landing. His body was found after the mixer was filled with concrete and started. Ivuke from Crossville Kansas. A separate report notes a father and his three children found dead in a fire wreckage at their home. Albert Watkins Frine Elizabeth Margaret Alberta 8 and Charles Albert 2 are named victims.

Malfeasance Charged In Warrant Served On Florida Comptroller
Warrant charging State Comptroller Ernest Amos with malfeasance in office was served in Tallahassee over the liquidation of the Bank of Ray Biscayne in Miami. Sheriff Frank Stout released Amos on his own recognizance after the warrant, issued at the request of depositor Jack A. Selby, alleged use of former bank officials in a liquidator audit. A habeas corpus writ was obtained from the Florida Supreme Court and returnable next Monday.
