Houston County health department officials announced several changes to immunization clinic times over the next two weeks. The revised schedule lists clinics at Webb school and Columbia school on Tuesday, April 29, Pleasant Plains church in the afternoon, and multiple sites including Ardilla White School, Cottonwood White School, Remah church, St Mary’s church, Taylor and Cow arts school, Ashford school, and Rehobeth on Thursday May 1 and Friday May 2 with times from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Presbyterians Invite Dr Henry E Russell to Dothan Week

Kellermann Delivers Talk to Houston Social Workers on Character
The Rev. Joseph Kellermann, rector of the Episcopal Church of the Nativity, spoke to the Houston County Social and Professional Workers Council on Character Building. He was introduced by Mrs. Lawrence Oakley as the executive secretary of the Houston County Chapter of the American Red Cross. Thirty-three members attended the meeting at the Fourteen Memorial Library, with luncheon provided by the Smyrna Home Demonstration Club.

Public health officials announced the whooping cough vaccine is available at the Houston County health department. The three dose schedule is given at 2 to 14 day intervals. Babies three to twelve months should begin vaccination, with clinics held Monday and Saturday mornings from 9 to 11 30 a m.
