Confed veteran and wife guests of Headland chapter

Headland April 18 Special guests Mrs Elle Hawkins and Mrs Charles Gamble attended the Headland chapter of the B D C at Mrs Hawking's home. The program honored Confederate veteran Mr Hughes and his wife. He recounted eight major battles and surviving the Appomattox surrender. Members presented gifts to the couple and shared a social hour with many attendees.
