Solomon B. Mathison, 16, of Skipperville, died at his Ozark home after a long illness. Funeral was held Saturday in Skipperville with Rev Stetle of Ariton officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery with Holman of Ozark in charge. Survived by a daughter Ide Wilson of Auburn and five sons Charles Mathison of Tarpon Springs, Billy, Oscar, John, Malcolm, and Lassie Mathison, all of Skipperville.

Youth slain after pool fight in Pell City
