CAIRO Upper Egypt is being electrified with a grand dam project. In a few years tourists may ride electric railways to cataracts of the Nile. Cities will gain illumination from Aswan reservoir power, and pumping stations and irrigation systems as far south as Enah will run on electricity. Drinking water in towns will be pumped electrically. Engineers predict hundreds of thousands of tons of output.
