Delinquent Youth Forum At Marianna Conference
The third regional conference of County Children's Committees will be held in Marianna tomorrow. It gathers representatives from sixteen Northwest Florida counties to discuss children and their problems, following the Tallahassee delinquent youth conference last year. Chairmen listed include D. He serves as radio technician with the RAF Airways and Air Communications Service and has been overseas since October 1946 after basic training at Keesler Field and radio mechanics school at Scott Field. Previously employed in Trenton, New Jersey.

In Houston a 98 pound housewife, Mrs. A B Cowan, fought off two dogcatchers trying to seize her dogs. She defended her yard with a pistol after violent threats and refused to go to the station, despite charges of rudely displaying a pistol and letting dogs run loose. One dog was taken from the four, as she prepared to post a $400 bond and reclaim Popeye.
