Ben Fordham a six footer from Dothan fought off two highwaymen at Eighth and Loule streets last night. He traded blows, escaped on an inbound street car, and kept his valuables. Fordham sustained a bruised right hand but thwarted the robbery.
A large crowd attended an off-day singing at Headland Avenue Baptist Church in Do Than This Spring.
