Basinger pays 20 million for Braselton Ga town
Actress Kim Basinger has bought Braselton, a 500 resident town in Jackson County, for 20 million dollars. Contracts cover the Braselton Super Market, bank, stores, a 600 acre industrial park, and 1,200 acres of real estate as the town’s 24 directors approve the sale. Basinger aims to revitalize the town, possibly build a production studio, and create a visitor center after negotiations led by Charles Morris and Gary Guyer.
