Deer causes single vehicle crash on Palmyra Road
Lee County Sheriff deputies investigated an early one car crash on Palmyra Road east of Sunnydale Road. Arthur Scharer, 22, of Dixon, said he lost control while avoiding a deer. the car struck a fence post and a utility pole with no injuries. Dixon Police cited a woman for failing to yield after a two car collision at Division Street and Fargo Avenue. Elizabeth Meade, 33, stopped at Madison School exit and pulled into the intersection, colliding with Sharie Spears, 36.
