Eastern Airlines is operating about 10 percent of its pre strike schedule after adding Latin America, the Caribbean and the Northeast service. It has rehired 90 to 100 furloughed workers, recalled mostly reservations agents, and will roll out a consumer ticket policy. The carrier seeks a court examiner to review related transactions and to approve the sale of its Northeast shuttle to Donald Trump for 365 million dollars while IAM picket lines loom and pilots plan strike benefits.
