Ralph Van Doren 85 of 1008 South Fifth Street Dixon died Thursday January 25 1990 at KSB Hospital Dixon after a long illness. He worked 35 years for Commonwealth Edison in Dixon retiring in 1965. Born September 23 1904 in Monroe County Iowa he married Emma Pat Penrod August 14 1937 in Crown Point Indiana. He was a member of Oregon United Methodist Church and Oregon Masonic Lodge 420 AF&AM. Survived by a stepdaughter Mary K Mantsch of Dixon four brothers and two sisters and one grandson. Funeral 1 PM Monday Farrell-Holland Funeral Home with Rev E Maynard Beal officiating. Burial Chapel Hill Memorial Park Dixon Visitation 4–6 PM Sunday with Masonic services at 6 PM.
