Harmons Face Rebuild After Major Home Fire
The Harmon family, residents of 275 Sterling Road, Harmon, suffered extensive losses when the Stephen Albrecht home burned on December 18. Firefighters confined the blaze to the attic and garage, but water and smoke damage require almost total rebuilding. Elizabeth Albrecht said furniture, clothing, and tools were ruined while basement salvage hopes remain. Neighbors host the family as they await insurance, with no total damage estimate yet. They report no cars burned and credit surviving the event to their safety.
