The party enjoyed rain at Elkhorn Springs then stayed in a six room cottage hosted by foreman Mr. Crowley. They visited Thomas Ellis and were entertained by the Ellis family and Miss Hedges at the State Normal. Willman guided them at the McConnell mine with a terrace garden and neat cottage.

On Wednesday morning at 8 30 the Beaverhead County High School welcomed a stained glass window donated by the class of 1911. Mrs Claude Huyck gave the presentation address and Miss Esther Thomas sang a solo. The program closed with the school singing America.
