Big Banquet Planned for Beaverhead Service Men
Beaverhead county will hold a large welcome banquet for returning service men on October 1 in Dillon. A large crowd is expected and plans include a group formation, dancing, and a public thank you. Pow Wow Roundup Entrants Set for Multiple Events
Ten dollars pays for entry in all events and two dollars for a single event. Saddle riding roping and relay cost ten dollars for the event and allow entry to any or all events during the contest. Premiums: Sunday if weather permits, fifteen dollars for first and ten dollars for second for the best cowboy cowgirl and cowhorse chosen by daily judges.
Bridge Condemned Near Daly's Spur
The old wooden Mooney bridge over the Bedrock river near Daly's spur was detected by the County Surveyor. It is probable a modern steel bridge will be erected next year to replace the aging structure.

State Firemen's Association Opens in Dillon Convention

Bozeman Creamery Team Visits City for Dillon Expansion
W. E. Maddox, creamery man, and head butter maker Bruce Bogers traveled from Bozeman to spend Monday in this city. Maddox’s butter earned 3d prize at the state fair after exposure on a hot express truck. He plans to open a Dillon branch creamery next spring and is negotiating for a building.
