Beaverhead county residents will receive live election returns on November 3 via Dillon Tribune and Dillon Examiner with a large precinct totals chart in the courtroom. Radio will carry national results and voters can listen to the presidential and state polls as county results are announced. The county ballot features seven tickets Republican Democrat Socialist Union Prohibition Communist and Independent due to a ruling by Attorney General Nagle.

Bennion Brothers Injured in Auto Accident Near Lima
Fred Bennion secretary of the Montana Taxpayers association and his brother Bes were returning from Helena to Salt Lake City when their car skidded and overturned near Lima. Fred suffered severe facial wounds and shock. Bes escaped with minor injuries and continued by train to Salt Lake City after hospital treatment at Barrett.

Well Known Dillon Resident Dies After Illness
J A Conover longtime Beaverhead county ranch hand died Sunday at Barrett hospital after months of illness. He lived near Poindexter and Orr ranch most of 50 years and was born 1865 in Siska California. Survived by a California daughter and son John Conover of Dillon. Funeral Tuesday at Brundage chapel, Rev H N Tragitt officiating, burial Mountain View Cemetery.

Over 200 voters have applied for absent voter ballots at the office of Albert Baker, clerk and recorder. The clerk noted this is more than 30 above previous records and that interest in the upcoming election is strong as applications continue to arrive.

Beaverhead county high school students conducted a mid week mock election using real ballots to vote for national state and county races and four measures with precincted voting, appointed judges and clerks mirroring a real election. Sheriff Mc Collum received a wire from Lebanon Missouri seeking extradition of John Deberry alias James Norris. Norris, arrested here on shoplifting charges, is wanted in Missouri for burglary and jail breaking. Fingerprints and description were sent to Washington DC revealing a prior Missouri record.
